Background

I have worked as a close up magician/entertainer all over the world after turning professional in 1996/7. I was interested in doing something that made people happy.
In 1996, I moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, where I lived for six months and met a number of unknown magicians, including a young Chris Angel, Mr. Lance Burton and Mr. Joe Labero.

It was in this company that I discovered and studied some of the best close up street magic in the world. My influences also include Mr. Tommy Cooper, Dai Vernon and a number of other class close up acts.
I am very lucky to be able to perform magic as my career. So far, my work as a magician/balloon artist has taken me to 22 countries.
I hold a Graduate Diploma degree in Media Communications from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia.
I am a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians.
based in Stockholm, Sweden, however I work on a regular basis in Holland and Germany.

I also take regular yearly tours to Japan where I appear at the Barge Inn, Narita/Tokyo.

In Australia I appear at the Treasure Island Holiday Park, Gold Coast, Queensland.

Also in Australia I appear at the Coffs Harbour RSL Club, NSW, Crown Casino Melbourne, Melbas on the Park, Gold Coast, Saks Restaurant Gold Coast, Billy Baxters Restaurants, Gold Coast, Hogs Breath Cafes Australia.

Internationally at Cafe Opera Nightclub Stockholm, Pasta E Basta Amsterdam, Palm Beach Casino London,  Crockfords Casino London.

Formerly a radio journalist in Australia, I am still a staff freelance journalist for the BBC in the UK.
